    Labor Counseling

    The emphasis on a multidisciplinary group allows us to provide customized solutions to eliminate or mitigate our clients' labor risks. Our services include:

    • Preparation and implementation of salary/benefit plans after business reorganizations or restructurings;

    • Assisting with labor audits;

    • Preparation and review of variable compensation schemes including executive compensation plans;

    • Counsel on matters related to employment rights, international rights and immigration;

    • Strategic guidance on negotiations with unions and leading union representatives as well as drafting or reviewing collective labor agreements.

    Court and administrative proceedings

    The Labor practice has a successful record in representing clients in labor courts and specialized administrative proceedings, including:

  • • Monitoring legislative proposals and joint work with trade associations to draft proposals for legislative reforms;

    • Assistance with legal audits in support of corporate transactions (M&A), issuing of debentures and assessing labor contingencies;

    • Representing clients in administrative and court proceedings, particularly in topics concerning the Ministry of Labor, for both
    investigatory proceedings as well as in defense of public civil suits.

    Executive Compensation

    The Labor and Employment practice assist clients on executive compensation matters by designing and implementing various compensation models, seeking to grow their clients’ businesses and
    engage their employees at work. Our services include:

    • Modeling and mplementing of variable compensation plans through profit-sharing distribution;

    • Promotion of seminars to improve knowledge of labor laws devised to professionals in charge of labor relations;

    • Preparation of labor audits to eliminate or mitigate possible contingencies and make necessary adjustments for compliance with legal obligations.
