4th Pay Transparency Report Now Available on the Emprega Brasil Portal, Providing for New Requirement
Companies with over 100 employees must publish the report by September 30 and inform where it has been made publicly available
Subjects
On September 22, 2025, Brazil’s Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) issued the 4th Pay Transparency and Remuneration Criteria Report on the Emprega Brasil Portal. Following regulatory requirements, companies with over 100 employees now have until September 30 to publish the report on their websites, social media platforms, or similar channels, ensuring broad visibility for employees, workers, and the general public.
Attention to the new requirement
The Emprega Brasil Portal has been updated to include a new feature under the Pay Equity section. Companies are now required to provide the URL of the website, social media platform, or similar channel where the report has been published. Additionally, they can upload an image as proof of publication through other means. This information must also be submitted by September 30.
This step marks a new phase in the MTE’s efforts to strengthen enforcement. According to official reports, 217 companies were audited, and 90 faced fines for failing to make their reports publicly accessible during inspections following previous editions of the report.
In September, the MTE plans to inspect approximately 800 companies to verify the publication of the new report. This signals a broader and more effective inspection process in the coming months, especially considering that all information will now be electronically available to labor auditors.
