Gender pay parity declaration deadline for third transparency report approaching
Declarations must be submitted via the Emprega Brasil Portal by February 28, 2025
Subjects
Companies in Brazil with 100 or more employees as of December 2024 must submit a pay parity declaration with information on policies and initiatives related to the work of female employees. Submissions can be made using the corresponding form on the Emprega Brasil Portal by February 28, 2025.
This time, there is one change in the form compared to the previous version. In a question about salary and remuneration criteria for career progression that the company has adopted, the length of professional experience considered is limited to the period the professional has been employed at the establishment or company itself.
The information in the declarations will serve to help Brazil’s Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) prepare its third Gender Pay Parity Report. The MTE must release the general report by March 17, 2025, after which companies must make theirs publicly available by March 31, 2025.
