Experience
Juliana has been working with foundations and associations for over 20 years, applying her extensive experience in corporate, administrative, contractual, tax and social security consulting to areas such as education, health, culture and social welfare. She also supports families and companies seeking to consolidate their private social investments.
Juliana works in Mattos Filho’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practice area – a pioneer in the Brazilian legal market – with a particular focus on social and governance matters.
Juliana is a member of the Global Compact’s Corporate Governance Committee, the Brazilian Association of Publicly-Held Companies’ (Abrasca) ESG Committee, Laboratório de Inovação Financeira’s ESG Risk Management and Transparency Working Group, and the Instituto Ethos’ Human Rights and Companies group. She previously practiced as an international attorney at the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
