Mattos Filho has announced the promotion of seven of the firm’s lawyers to its partnership, strengthening its full-service capacity and boosting the firm’s development in strategic areas. The new partners work across seven of the firm’s areas of practice – Environmental Law & Climate Change, Litigation & Arbitration, Asset Management Services & Investment Funds, Infrastructure & Energy, White Collar Crime, Labor & Employment, and Tax. In light of this development, Mattos Filho’s partner count has surpassed 140.
In remaining attentive to changes in the market and demand from varying economic sectors, Mattos Filho continues to invest in its internal talent, reflecting its focus on sustainably growing as an institution and providing outstanding legal service to clients.

Filipe Vergette and Rafael Kasiarz are based at Mattos Filho’s Rio de Janeiro office, which now has 24 partners and the highest number of lawyers of any law firm in the region. The other newly promoted partners are all based in São Paulo.
