Rafael focuses his legal practice on project development (and related) transactions across all infrastructure sectors, including energy, oil & gas, transport, steel, sanitation, sugar and ethanol, and data centers.
He is experienced in analyzing, drafting and negotiating all types of construction contracts, as well as other complex contracts (e.g., EPC EPCM, O&M, BOP, DBOT, asset management agreements, transitional services agreements, development services agreements, business brokerage agreements, purchase and sale/supply agreements, service provision agreements, consortium formation instruments, lease agreements, colocation agreements and R&D agreements).

Santos Neto Advogados has helped Amaggi Louis Dreyfus Zen-Noh Grãos (ALZ Grãos) acquire a soybean crushing unit in the Brazilian state of Tocantins from local agribusiness company Fazendão Indústria e Comércio de Produtos Agropecuários.
