The firm's outstanding services with the Tax practice were recognized at both ITR Americas Tax Awards and ITR World Tax

Mattos Filhos’ performance has been recognized at the ITR Americas Tax Awards and in the ITR World Tax 2025 guide, two Euromoney group initiatives that celebrate the best law firms and professionals in global tax law.
At the ITR Americas Awards ceremony, wich happened on September 26, 2024, the firm collected six awards on the following categories:
- Brazil Transfer Pricing Law Firm of the Year;
- Indirect Tax Firm of the Year;
- Latin America – Indirect Tax Practice Leader of the Year;
- Impact Case of the Year – with the Cencosud Brasil Comercial v Brazilian Federal Revenue Service and CAOA Montadora de Veiculos v Brazilian Internal Revenue Service cases;
- Impact Deal of the Year – with the ENGIE/Atlas solar portfolio deal.
The firm was also a standout in the ITR World Tax 2025 guide, achieving the highest ranking (Tier 1) in all categories and leading all full-service firms in Brazil for the number of recognized professionals, with 14.
