Mattos Filho announced today (May 14) the promotion of six lawyers to the partnership, underscoring the firm’s sustained growth and reinforcing its ability to deliver comprehensive, high-quality, full-service legal services to clients across a wide range of industries. Four of the six newly promoted partners are women. With these additions, the firm’s partnership now totals 144 lawyers.
The promotions align with the impact of recent regulatory developments—most notably Brazil’s sweeping tax reform—as well as a rebound in mergers and acquisitions activity and a rise in litigation. They also address growing demand for legal counsel in areas such as wealth planning and complex matters in the real estate and energy sectors. The new partners span six different practice areas and are based in the firm’s São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro offices.
