Experience
Renata’s practice focuses on complex competition issues, including mergers linked to both domestic and international transactions, administrative investigations, court proceedings, audits and general counseling on competition related matters. She also works with developing and implementing competition compliance programs and advises clients in trade defense cases. Renata is the merger coordinator at the Competition Committee of the Brazilian Institute for the Study of Competition, Consumer Affairs and International Trade (Ibrac) and a member of the Mergers Working Group at the International Bar Association (IBA).

Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados has helped private medical group Oncoclínicas do Brasil sell a minority stake in a radiotherapy subsidiary to healthcare company Unimed.
The buyer, including its subsidiaries, hired Gaia, Silva, Gaede & Associados Advocacia, for the deal, which closed on 31 March. No value was disclosed.
