Experience
Marina’s practice focuses on a wide variety of private equity and venture capital transactions, in addition to investment funds. She also specializes in ESG (Environmental, Social, Corporate Governance) and was a pioneer of the area in Brazil’s legal sector. Marina represents financial institutions, managers, startups and investors in acquisition, financial and asset-disposal transactions, and assists with investment fund formation and capitalization, including for private equity, venture capital, natural resources, carbon, real estate, distressed assets and ETF.
In 2013, she was listed by Latin Lawyer as one of the most inspiring women in the legal industry in Latin America. She also provides support to social business and impact investment initiatives in Brazil through her pro bono work with Professor Muhammad Yunus.
Marina is a board member of the Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (ABVCAP).
