Rafael focuses his legal practice on project development (and related) transactions across all infrastructure sectors, including energy, oil & gas, transport, steel, sanitation, sugar and ethanol, and data centers.
He is experienced in analyzing, drafting and negotiating all types of construction contracts, as well as other complex contracts (e.g., EPC EPCM, O&M, BOP, DBOT, asset management agreements, transitional services agreements, development services agreements, business brokerage agreements, purchase and sale/supply agreements, service provision agreements, consortium formation instruments, lease agreements, colocation agreements and R&D agreements).

Bachelor of Laws – Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ);
Postgraduate Degree in Private Property Law – Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
