Experience

Maricí specializes in civil and commercial litigation and has extensive experience before Brazil’s higher courts. She applies her expertise in energy-sector regulations to administrative and judicial litigation and to advising companies in complex disputes. Her practice also includes legal claims and the purchase and sale of credit rights and court-ordered payments (precatórios), where she advises clients on structuring transactions and managing associated litigation risks.

Maricí has taught Civil Procedure Law at the University of Brasília since 2017. She has been a member of the Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law since 2001 and is also a member of the Associação Brasiliense de Direito Processual Civil and of the Brazilian Bar Association’s Federal District chapter (OAB-DF).
