Experience

Ary was a founding partner of Mattos Filho and a full-time senior professor at the Fundação Getulio Vargas Law School in São Paulo.

During his distinguished career, Ary served as the Chairman of Brazil’s Securities Commission (CVM), a judge of the São Paulo State Administrative Taxes and Rates Court, a member of Brazil’s National Monetary Council (CMN), and as President of the Federal Commission for Fiscal Reform. He was also a member of the board of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). Ary was a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School, as well as a former dean and senior professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ business and law schools.
