Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting publishes 2026-27 regulatory agenda
Agenda prioritizes topics such as reviewing authorization procedures, regulating physical betting terminals and advertising carried out via affiliates, and improving responsible gaming policies

On February 13, 2026, the Brazilian Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) published SPA/MF Ordinance No. 408/2026 to establish its regulatory agenda for 2026 and 2027.
The agenda seeks to help identify the SPA’s priority regulatory efforts, make the regulatory process more efficient, predictable and certain, and provide for a stable, transparent and up-to-date regulatory environment for Brazil’s bets sector that will continue to attract investment.
The priority topics outlined in the agenda are as follows:

The SPA may also decide to issue specific or supplementary regulations covering additional topics if deemed necessary.
