Marcelo advises domestic and foreign clients in M&A transactions, investments via private equity funds and acquisitions of distressed assets.

His practice also includes representing investors, creditors and debtors in complex debt restructurings. Marcelo previously worked as a foreign associate at the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
