Experience
Flávio has extensive experience in civil litigation and arbitration, representing clients in arbitral proceedings in Brazil and abroad, as well as before Brazilian state and federal courts. He is specialist in arbitration and complex commercial disputes, advising domestic and international clients across various sectors, with particular focus on infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, and private equity.
Flávio also maintains broad and strategic relationships with foreign law firms, working on a wide range of international matters and cross-border disputes. He serves as an Officer of the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and of the Energy Group of the Latin American Arbitration Association (ALARB). He was a member of the Advisory Board of the AMCHAM Arbitration Chamber (2018–2024) and served as an ICC YAF representative (2014–2017), during which time he also participated in the ICC Brazil national nomination committee.

O Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados anunciou a promoção de seis profissionais a sócios do escritório. Os novos membros da sociedade são Flávio Spaccaquerche Barbosa, Gabriela Silva de Lemos, Marcel Alcades Theodoro, Paulo Camargo Tedesco, Renata Fonseca Zuccolo Giannella e Thiago Fernandes Moreira.
Barbosa atua nas áreas de contencioso e arbitragem. Ele é bacharel em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo e possui especialização em Direito das Relações de Consumo pela mesma instituição. Tem ainda mestrado em Direito Internacional Econômico pela Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, na França.
Gabriela faz parte da equipe de tributário. Ela é bacharel em Direito pela PUC-SP, especialista em Direito Tributário pela mesma universidade e especialista em Direito da Economia e da Empresa pela Fundação Getulio Vargas de São Paulo.
Theodoro também atua na área tributária. O profissional é bacharel em Direito pela PUC-SP e especialista em Direito Tributário pela FGV-SP.
Tedesco é outro integrante do time de tributário. Ele é bacharel em Direito pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina e em Ciências Contábeis pela Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina. O novo sócio ainda possui especialização em Direito Tributário pela PUC-SP e mestrado na mesma matéria pela Universidade de São Paulo.
Renata atua na área concorrencial, é bacharel em Direito pela PUC-SP, especialista em Direito Econômico e Regulatório pela FGV-SP e possui LLM pelo King’s College London, na Inglaterra.
Já Moreira trabalha na área de infraestrutura. Ele é bacharel em Direito pela PUC-Rio, tem LLM pela Robert Gordon University Aberdeen Business School, na Escócia, e fez curso de negociação para advogados na Harvard University, nos EUA.
