Gustavo Swenson Caetano


​Gustavo focuses his work on transactional, regulatory, and intellectual property issues related to the Life Sciences, Health, Food, Technology, and Biotechnology industries, working with a range of government agencies and bodies such as the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa), the Brazilian Agency of Supplementary Health (ANS), and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Supply (MAPA). He advises and represents Brazilian and international clients on regulatory, contractual, advisory, and intellectual property issues, using his experience in healthcare compliance and legal issues involving privacy and personal data protection. Gustavo served as a Brazilian representative at the Japanese Intellectual Property Training Center, organized by the Japan Patent Office (Tokyo, 2013) and was a guest professor in a course on health compliance offered by LEC - Legal, Ethics & Compliance between 2015 and 2019.
