Multiple firms help Odebrecht sell transport assets

Five Brazilian firms have confirmed their role in Odebrecht’s divestment of transport assets worth a combined 2.5 billion reais (US$618 million) as the company battles with debt.
In the first of two big-ticket deals, Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados helped Japanese conglomerate Mitsui lead the majority stake acquisition of Rio de Janeiro railroad concessionaire SuperVia from Odebrecht. Click here to learn more.
