ANP announces a Public Contribution Process regarding the frequency of fuel price adjustment

Oil and Gas

The National Agency for Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels (“ANP”) approved a Public Contribution Process (“TPC”) regarding the frequency of adjustment in fuel prices.

The purpose of the TPC is to collect data and information to contribute to the drafting of a resolution that will address the minimum period for pass-through of adjustments in fuel prices from refineries and importers to distributors and from distributors to gas stations.

The TPC is open to all interested parties, who should summit their comments through an application form, which will be made available by ANP on its website. The form should be sent to [email protected], between June 11th and July 2nd.

ANP’s General Officer, Décio Oddone, declared that a draft of the resolution, which will be submitted to a public consultation and public hearing, is expected to be the published in the Official Gazette by mid-August.
